Level II sites

The monitoring network currently consists of 68 official Level II sites. The sites reflect deposition, climate and soil gradients gradients within Germany.

 

In addition to the official Level-II sites, the forestry research institutions of the federal states collect data using the same methods on other long-term monitoring sites.
