Taking into account the age of the stand, the parameters of crown condition, damage factors, and mortality are used to assess the vitality of the trees and stands, evaluate specific risks for forest development, and derive criteria for initiating stabilizing management measures (forest maintenance, forest protection, thinning, harvesting strategies).
